Mounque "Monk" Barazone has studied and experienced the benefits, pleasure and pain of muscle therapy and massage for over 44 years. He's studies and experienced the touch and techniques of the world's best therapists on over 2,000 massages. He has over 20,000 hours of clinical experience in his private practice and for professional sports teams. Mounque graduated from Mueller College of Holistic Studies with a 1000 Hour HHP Certification (Holistic Health Practitioner) and then received the industry's highest certification becoming Nationally Board Certified in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork. He had over 1500 hours of total education and attends CEU classes annually always on a quest to learn one more way to benefit his clients. He is innovator in the field of Muscle Therapy and an inventor in construction machinery for Ccvil engineering . He approaches the body from an engineering perspective, stating, "The Human Body is the greatest engineering feat of all time." Finding the most effective techniques and the best ways to employ them to benefit his clients is his life long quest. This led him to develop the Body Engineering™ System of NeuroSomatic™ Therapy. Clients say he has an intuitive gift, "Radar in his Fingers," which allows him to zero in on and help with painful and difficult problems. Mounque holds six United States and foreign patents for machines which are used in over 30 countries for specialized construction. He has been published for 20 years in a row in international magazines in numerous languages in both fields.

Mounque was selected twice as The Official Therapist for Team Dennis Conner, "Stars and Strips" during America's Cup 1992 & 1995.
In 1997 he was honored by his peers receiving The American Massage Therapy Association, San Diego Unit's Meritorious Service Award. He served for over 6 years on both the AMTA Unit and California Chapter Boards, retiring as Unit President in 2001. In 2000 the San Diego City Council publicly thanked Mounque for his 8 years of service on the city's task force that produced new professional massage laws. In 2001 Mounque was recognized by the American Red Cross in San Diego for his contributions to staff treatment and community service during 9/11. Mounque has been featured in newspaper and magazine articles worldwide, from The industry's biggest "Massage Magazine" to "The Informant" published by The San Diego County Police Officers Association.
